About this grid
osimdev is a single-machine OpenSimulator development grid. It exists for testing, code exploration, and documentation work related to the OpenSimulator project.
It is not a social grid. It is not a commercial grid. There are no guarantees of uptime, stability, or data persistence.

This is a 2-core machine running ROBUST, two 512x512 varregions, a web server, a wiki, and a database — all on the same box.
A small number of concurrent users (roughly 5–10) should be fine for development and testing purposes. Beyond that, expect degraded physics, slower script execution, and increased latency.
If the grid feels sluggish, it is the hardware, not a bug. Please do not file issues about performance.
The residential internet connection means upload bandwidth is limited. Asset transfers and region crossings may be slower than on a grid with dedicated hosting.
The grid runs when the hardware is on and the software is not being updated or tested. There is no uptime commitment. The grid may go down without notice for maintenance, testing, or because something broke.
